Job Description: Advanced Linux Administrator / CA API Gateway Engineer
Core skills
Advanced Linux Administrator 5 to 7 years hands on experience with:
● Linux Install and Configure Linux Systems● Linux Systems advance shell scripting and python is a plus● Linux systems security and hardening per PCI standards● Linux systems advance troubleshooting for custom jobs along with OS level backup and recovery● Linux systems Antivirus setup, configuration and management ● Linux systems SSH, SSL and PGP setup, configuration, and management● Linux Systems Perform System Maintenance and Monitor System Performance.● Linux integration with Windows and Azure Active Directory Knowledge is plus● Working with cloud Linux VMs on azure is a plus● Working knowledge of vmware servers/cluster is a plus
CA API Gateway Engineer 2 to 3 years hands on experience with:● Intermediate level experience in API management platforms Layer 7 the CA API Gateway version 9.4/10.x and API, CC tokenization/detokenization related activities building API policies and assertions.● Prior experience with CA API Administration functions● Prior experience supporting CA API Gateway Operations● Prior experience with creating and maintaining design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams.● Provide routine administration including patching, deploying software, implementing changes, and server configuration.● Knowledge configuring & maintaining CA API Gateway virtual appliances.● Familiarity with all aspects of client registrations.● Familiar with using the Gateway Migration Utility to create update bundles between gateways. Prior experience developing software in Java is highly desired ● MS SQL Server basic DB Admin Knowledge is plus● Good communication and writing skills to complete RCA (Root Cause Analysis)● Be part of a monitoring team to ensure environment sustainability● Ready to work various shifts/hours in case of emergencies
Details:● Implement, manage, and maintain all aspects of our IT Infrastructure including Linux, CA Layer7 API Gateway, VmwareServer Hardware, Software, Business Applications, Infrastructure Services, End user computing, etc.● Maintain Servers and storage hardware in datacenter; rack the equipment, configure remote console, replace hardware● Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions● Collaborate with project teams to assist in delivery of the solution implementation by providing guidance as needed to engineering and architecture teams; provide on-call 24x7 support
Educational Requirements:● Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
